Nordic Venture Partners is now Bird Dog Equity Partners
After five years as Nordic Venture Partners, the partnership of Paul Schock and Chad Hatch has changed their name to Bird Dog Equity Partners. The name change was announced today at a ribbon cutting ceremony and accompanied by the launch of a new website: http://BirdDogEquity.com.
“Chad and I thought it was time to give our partnership a name that better fit the culture of our company,” said Paul Schock, Managing Partner. “The name ‘Bird Dog’ reflects the fact that we are looking for loyal, long-lasting partnerships with investors and entrepreneurs who share our values.”
Founded in April, 2010, Bird Dog has six funds with more than $16 million dollars invested in 14 companies. The Sioux Falls-based private equity company primarily backs entrepreneurs in the Midwest in everything from technology to manufacturing and golf resorts to renewable energy.
