Introducing: EverSpring Inn & Suites - Marshall, MN
Previously branded a Ramada hotel, this 100-room property will undergo extensive property renovations to provide a completely new and enhanced guest experience. The updates will include dramatically updated guest rooms and bathrooms, exterior enhancements, as well as refreshed lobby and meeting spaces.
“Our mission at the EverSpring is to bring elements of an upscale experience at a ‘midscale’ price point,” said Kyle Schock, partner at Bird Dog Equity Partners.
“We focus on the things that matter most – a superbly comfortable bed and pillow, large HDTVs, super-fast internet, a truly great breakfast and an updated and modern look and feel – all supported by authentic Midwestern hospitality that focuses on our mantra of putting ‘people first’.”
With the acquisition, Marshall becomes the third EverSpring location in the brand’s young history, joining fellow Midwest communities Bismarck, ND and Oskaloosa, IA.
“We have had our eye on Marshall for a long time,” said Schock. “Marshall is a regional economic leader with a thriving business community and unique local culture. We are very much long-term operators and investors and we’re excited to join the community and be a part of Marshall’s present and future growth.”
The extensive renovations are expected to take most of 2021 to complete. The work will be done in stages with minimal interruption to the guest experience.
Upon completion, the EverSpring Inn & Suites Marshall will be the only full-service and most recently updated property in the area, featuring 3,500 sq ft of meeting space, an oversized indoor pool and an attached restaurant. The team will be hosting a community- wide open house upon completion of the renovations.
Bird Dog is also exploring a new restaurant concept to complement the EverSpring Inn & Suites, something the team is every bit as excited about as the hotel conversion. An announcement on the new concept can be expected within weeks.
The Marshall acquisition brings Bird Dog Equity’s total owned and managed hotel portfolio to 11, spread across Minnesota, North Dakota, Wisconsin, Iowa and Nebraska.
“We’re Midwest people with Midwest values,” said Chad Hatch, partner at Bird Dog Equity Partners. “We couldn’t think of a more fitting place than Marshall to invest and plant our roots.”
