DataSync Acquires Facet Data Solutions

DataSync Corporation today announced that it has acquired the SugarCRM business of Facet Data Solutions, a Denver based SugarCRM implementation partner. Eric Grapengeter, Facet Data’s owner and President, has been appointed as Vice President-Sales for DataSync. The acquisition includes all of Facet Data’s SugarCRM customers and related software development projects.

DataSync is a rapidly growing software advisory and engineering firm located in Sioux Falls, SD. The company provides advisory services to organizations interested in using software to automate marketing, customer management and back offices systems into one seamless platform. It has been named as one of SugarCRM’s top Elite Partners for the past two years. In 2015 it was recognized as the fastest growing SugarCRM Elite Partner in North America.

DataSync pioneered the use of Customer Lifecycle Solution analysis in the design and implementation of integrated business software systems. This approach allows the company to systematically review and evaluate customer processes from lead generation to sales management to order processing, customer contracting and fulfillment activities and identify ways to improve software systems to increase profitability through revenue increases and operating efficiencies. The company then assists its customers in the development and implementation of these improvements.

Craig Anderson, DataSync’s Chairman, stated, “The national footprint of our growing software engineering and advisory services operations means that we need to diversify our physical locations and increase our technical resources in order to provide more responsive service to our customers. Facet Data is perfect fit for our organization and our expansion strategy. Adding Eric to our senior management staff is an added plus. He brings substantial experience in the design and implementation of integrated front office solutions to our team.”

“I am thrilled to be joining the DataSync team as Vice President of Sales,” stated Eric Grapengeter, Facet Data’s owner and President. “To join a leading software firm like DataSync is a major win for the existing Facet Data customers and for businesses throughout the Denver region.”

“The Facet Data combination is merely the first step in our expansion plan to use strategic business combinations to grow our customer base and add experienced technical personnel,” added Anderson. “We anticipate that other like-minded organizations will join us as we continue to expand into the enterprise services markets throughout the United States.”
